This is a very simple WordPress site using the theme Guten which was designed to work well with Gutenberg, the WordPress block editor.
I’ve set the default to block editing but I have installed the classic editor. Shouldn’t be too much need of it.
Images
The pixel size for pictures can vary, but I like to include a banner type picture with each post, dimensions 1024×360. Bigger pictures with a 16×9 ratio would be 1024×576. Any other picture ratio using 1024 as the width is probably fine. Tall pictures might need to be placed side by side for viewing on a pc, but would be fine on a phone
Important: the size for all featured images should be 640×360. A featured image should be used for each post.
Colors
The default primary color is 215a7c. This is used in the header and the footer
The default background color is an off-white leaning toward blue, edf0f3
The header font color is white (ffffff)
The body font color is black (000000)
Fonts
The headline font is Belgrano, a Google font, a slab serif font
The body font is Open Sans, also a Google font. Open Sans is a humanist sans serif font.
Note that both these fonts should be available free for your computer to use in Word, PowerPoint, etc.
